Here are some commonly asked questions we get :)

Nope! We use portable piano shells with keyboards. This way we can play at any venue and incorporate key-drums to help get people on their feet!

Our schedule is kind of all over the place, but on average we play about 80 events a year. Aside from that, we all play at the dueling piano club called Fortissimo in downtown Denver when we have an open weekend night.

Yes… We are very fortunate to get to play music for a living! Although, running a business is much more than just learning and playing songs. Amy also enjoys web design and is merging that into her schedule.

Each player has a bio here, but we started Colorado Keys in 2016 after playing at Howl at the Moon for about ten years.

It definitely takes time to learn hundreds of songs, but most of the pop and rock songs that get requested have standard 4-6 chord structures that get easier to hear the more you do it. We DO get stumped once in a while though!

John and Amy met at Howl at the Moon in Denver, fell in love, and started Colorado Keys. Jon Sherman, Pamela Machala, and Riley O’Toole all worked there as well.
